George Pilling Jones - Physiotherapy
28/12/23
George was referred to aid with hindlimb conditioning and to identify any areas of weakness.
The main points from the session:
In stance posture there was a pattern of cranially loading and weight bearing with flattening of the
forelimb digits. The forelimbs were behind the vertical plumb line putting pressure on elbows.
In walk there are externally rotated elbows and carpal valgus with narrow limb flight bilaterally.
-Owner reports reactive when touching chest and shoulder, even muscle bulk of shoulders
palpated but possible injury may have occurred following jumping down from obstacles.
The digits and carpal joints have full Range Of Movement.
There are reduced hindlimb stability and strength with muscle loss, right turns are stilted and the
right hindlimb circumducts oppose to flex/extend.
On rising from sit to stand, there is shaking and some left hindlimb readjustment. We will work on
this to improve posture and stability
