Alfie– Exercise Prescription 15/11/23 Recently been scanned for check ligament injury. Looks to be healing. Lameness present in RF 4/5 present with head nod at walk. On restricted walking 20 mins per day. Weight under control. Recently had tarsal and stifle injections bilaterally. Gait assessment – Base narrow with the hindlimbs and reduced hindlimb protraction. Increased loading on left forelimb and use of neck and head to protract the right forelimb. Palpation – Scar tissue palpable RF palmer MC3. Reduced extensor carpi radialis muscle RF. LF hypertrophic extensors and increased weight bearing. Good dorsi-flexion of the back. Reduced lateral bending with spasming and trigger points bilaterally in the TL fascia extending cranially. Hypotrophic gluteal and hamstrings.
