Nash– Exercise Prescription
15/11/23
Good body score now, a little restless due to no turnout now, suggested to increase workload to
keep Nash busy as he is coming back up to full health.
Gait assessment – Good overtrack and more even loading patterns on hooves. No tarsal rotation
seen so there is a good increase in hindlimb stability. Good audible sound from all 4 feet, even
fetlock extension during foot fall.
Palpation - Reduced bilateral neck mobility C3 left and C4 right. Serratus ventralis showing tension
drawing shoulders towards to the body. Restricted mildly in forelimb protractionSpinal range of
motion reduced in dorsi-flexion but improved since last visit. Oedema on ventral aspect of abdomen.
Reduces when worked – advised to monitor.
