Norman

Norman – Exercise Prescription 28/11/22 Norman was seen as he had become increasingly uncomfortable following the eruption of his adult teeth. Norman moved straight in front and was narrow chested and croup high. The hindlimbs had increased difficulty staying under the midline and carrying the weight of his body effectively. Norman showed some spasming and tension in his shoulders and underside of his neck which will limit his forward leg movement in front. His jaw and Temporo-mandibular joint were reactive and there was increased tension here and into the poll region. 2x a week Other - Try to have some hay fed from the floor to encourage the lower jaw to slide forwards and grind the teeth evenly - Feeding frozen Carrots or other root veggies can help teething and cool the area if it is sore and inflamed. - Feeding lower down will also reduce the neck tension Norman gets in the poll area and lower portions of the neck
