Re: Chuck– Physiotherapy Notes - 1/12/25
Subjective
Chuck was seen for physio on 1/12/25 after injury. He has been making a good recovery but
still is showing some dysfunction.
Static & Dynamic Observations:
•
•
•
Static conformation is good, straight forelimbs and hindlimbs, narrow stance with
hindlimbs with some external rotation. Long back. Shod all round – good foot
balance.
When walking the tail was initially held left and there was a right pelvic asymmetry
and increased excursion on this side. The right hind landed heavier. There was a
head nod which was linked to lack of propulsion from the hindlimb through the back
and into the neck.
Lower flight arc bilaterally hindlimbs
Palpation Findings:
•
•
•
•
•
•
Poll tension and cervical restriction more to the right side c2-5
Right pec scarring – maybe old inj site
Right serratus thoracis restricted
Lumbar tension and spasming into gluteal, lumbar and into trapezius (severe)
Will lift back and pelvic round/extension
Semitendinosus tension and biceps femoris tight fascia left side
Overall:
