Subjective:
Straight moving and has good ground clearance of all limbs. Mildly stilted in the forelimbs
and mild rotation of the left hindlimb intermittently when sitting, right hindlimb less
frequently will also abduct. Nail wear is good with no scuffing evidenced. Suspected
cushings.
Palpation: Head and neck have symmetrical tone and bulk, neurological exam not
warranted. Increased muscle bulk over forelimbs and mildly reduced muscle mass in the
hindlimbs. Latissimus dorsi bilaterally was reactive with trigger points and spasming present.
Mildly restricting forelimb protraction with resentment. Mild back pain on palpation with
associated trigger points and spasming around the thoracic junction and rib heads.
Joint range of motion was good – no crepitus felt today.
