Anushka – Exercise Prescription and Notes

Subjective: Anushka was seen before being taken on holiday. She is of a good body weight
6/9 and her feet look well balanced and supported. Posture is improved and no longer
camped out. More gluteal mass is observed and overall better when ridden. Can have some
spasms on palpation reported.
Gait: Tracks up with both hindlimbs and intermittent bilateral toe-drag. Even weight
distribution and straight and on two tracks. Mild pelvic drop left hindlimb. More stable in
the pelvis.
Main palpation findings: Restricted neck mobility to the left c3-5. Hypotrophic thoracic
epaxials and reactive trigger points and spasming into lumbar region. Gluteals unaffected as
hypotonic and similarly hamstrings hypotonic. Hindlimb retraction limited bilaterally but
improved. Gracilis hypotrophic and hypertonic left hindlimb.
Range of motion: Pelvic range of motion has impved. Pelvic rounding is good and extension
good. Thoracic region restricted and ribs reactive last rib and deep pelvic flexors on the right
