Woody- Physiotherapy Notes – 11.12.25
Woody was seen for a follow up session 11/12/25. Woody has been limping
less and this has been noticed by the owner. He is doing well on his walks
and is doing well with his exercises.
Gait: Limited hindlimb protraction bilaterally and external elbow rotation. A
wide stance and movement with the forelimbs. Increased hip sway with the
hindlimbs.
Posture: Still evidence of cranially loading (placing more weight on the
forelimbs). Good sit posture and down posture. Good straight back noticed
throughout.
Palpation: Head and neck – no issues. Wide chest and braced forearms, some
hesitation with the left elbow palpation today. Bracing through the lumbar
region, muscle spasming.
Hindlimbs symmetrical, crepitus on rising but not on ROM. Limited hip
extension bilaterally.
Aim: Improve back mobility and maintain hip range of motion
