Noble– Exercise Prescription and Notes
10-12-25
Subjective: Weight is good and overall balance is good. Nobel has been improving well since
the last visit and has been slowly working up towards gaining a contact for short periods
when ridden. He recently had an incident in the trailer and had his neck stuck – rested and
seems okay.
Gait: Straight overall. Right forelimb is placed medially (to the centre - mild) and wears the
outer wall of the foot. Close moving in front. Has become straighter and tracking up well
with both hindlimbs. A little unbalanced when turning.
Main palpation findings Hypotrophic thoracic epaxials and reactive trigger points and
spasming into lumbar region, Muscle tone is weaker on the right but has improved
considerable since my last visit. Weak right stifle, but improved, carpus does not have the
same click when manipulated..
Range of motion: Flexion good each way is good. Spinal range of motion good, a little
limited in mid lumbar. Pelvic tilts good no issues.
Exercises below, aim for 3x a week 40 minute sessions if schooling, include some canter
work. Heat pad and massage pad will be useful.
