Reg- Physiotherapy Notes – 19/11/25
Reg was seen following a period of time where his owners were away and he
returned with some discolouration and abrasions to his hindlimb pads. Socks
were worn to reduce ground contact and to prevent licking. Muscle mass has
been noted to be reduced in the left hindlimb.
Gait: Reg has a good rhythmical gait with good foot placement and ground
clearance in all four limbs. Socks worn today giving altered proprioception.
Posture: Cranially loading but improved from last visit. In sit left hindlimb held
laterally on occasion. Straighter back posture, some mild deviation due to LH
being held non-weight bearing for a while over the past few weeks.
Palpation: Head and neck of good tone, right triceps and biceps hypotrophic
compare to the left and hypotonic. Digits palpate well, carpal joints have full
range of movement, right elbow shoes crepitus on full flexion. Trigger points
and spasming along the back in the left lumbar region. Reactive with
hindlimbs.
Other: Thoracic lift limited and turning left shows mild delay in left hindlimb
initially.
