William – 11.11.25
William was seen for physiotherapy following a suspected diagnosis of suspensory injry to his
hindlimbs. He has remedial farriery and has seen the vet and hygienist.
Gait assessment –William travelled on two tracks, his pelvis is more even but he does laterally swing
his right hindlimb to the side. There was a mild left forelimb lameness present today.
Turning showed good hindlimb proprioception, placement, and foot height- again a little tentative
left forelimb.
Palpation –Pelvic range limited in extension. Increased tension in thoracolumbar fascia and hip
flexors, more so on left. Mid thoracic region hypotrophic and hypotonic but has improved. Neck on
the left side was reactive and tender, gluteals are overactive in stance, following treatment a better
stance was achieved
