Woody- Physiotherapy Notes – 11.11.25
Woody was seen for a follow up session 11/11/25. On the last consult it was
observed that. He has a dog walker who noticed a reluctance to jump into
the van (intermittent) and Owner noticed stiffer in the morning. Since the
last session Woody has made some progress with his exercises.
Gait: Limited hindlimb protraction bilaterally and external elbow rotation.
Good fluid movement and observed jumping onto chair/sofa. Turning showed
a preference to go right. His right hindlimb looked weaker when stood on an
object.
Posture: Still evidence of cranially loading (placing more weight on the
forelimbs). Good sit posture and down posture.
Palpation: Head and neck – no issues. Wide chest and braced forearms.
Bracing through the lumbar region, muscle spasming.
Hindlimbs symmetrical, crepitus on rising but not on ROM. Limited hip
extension bilaterally. No crepitus on hip rocking.
Aim: Improve overall balance
