Exercises
24/9/25
Xenia has been out of work for a month due to owners health and is looking to come back into
work. She had a previous swelling around her check ligament on the left, today it is on the right
and there was a mild lameness present. She is of a good weight and has improved on previous
sessions regarding her back..
Gait: Straight moving with mild drop on the right hindlimb mild lateral circumduction right hindlimb
and even foot landing. Tracks up well and very willing to move forwards. Turning is good both ways
in bend through neck and spine. Right looks a little more stilted on timing but foot flight and
placement are good.
Palpation: No concerns over head or neck, mobility of the neck is very good both ways with minimal
twisting or rotation occurring. Right shoulder was reactive around the girth and held in retraction
(mild). Mild lumbar tension but mild trigger points, well used medial thigh and hamstrings, some
adhesions around scar on the right hindlimb. Back range of motion is good, pelvic tilts are good.
Aim:
īˇ
