JD - Physiotherapy Notes

JD was seen for his follow up session and has progressed well. Previous BOAS surgery, no
complications. Owner reports some excessive salivation at times. He is alert and bright.
No lameness is seen, weak in his hindlimbs around his stifles.
JD has some mild forelimb rotation especially his right forelimb. Hindlimbs move narrow
in walk and trot. Sitting posture is good. Back posture has greatly improved and is less
kyphotic. Shoulders are being loaded less and there are reduced strain patterns seen, back
palpated good.
Forelimb range of motion was good with no crepitus felt. The tarsal joints display some
hyper mobility and straight limb conformation. The knees (more left hind) shows some
patella movement on full extension. This is intermittently present in both hindlimbs.
