Bally – Exercise Prescription and Notes
19/06/25
Subjective: Bally has improved since her use of medication for ulcers. She has been starting
ridden work and is looking towards some regular lessons.
Gait: Tracks up with both hindlimbs with even weight distribution. Stronger on the right
forelimb and still some stiffness in her right hindlimb – seen only in transitions. Good
balance on the turns.
Main palpation findings: Neck mildly braced but development is now looking more
suspended with development of splenius and rhomboid. Right brachiocephalicus is braced
at the base. Improved thoracic sling reactivity. Mild epaxials hypotonicity but better
posture. Hugely improved hip flexors and lumbar spasming.
Range of motion: Pelvic range of motion has imprved. Pelvic rounding is good and extension
good. Thoracic region restricted mildly but hindlimb retraction is very good bilaterally.
