Tess Potts 10/06/25
Consult and notes
Subjective: Tessa is prescribed Onsior. Previous injury/conditions are elbow and hip
dysplasia (bilateral). Stumbling and incidences of tripping have lessened and Tess was able
to locomote around the field easier today with better rhythm and fluidity of her walk.
Downhill locomotion is still more difficult but Tess looks happier and more willing. When
toileting the left hindlimb is still hovered. Braced back and epaxials but looks to be improved
– spinal range of motion shows good ability to arch in the thoracic and thoraco-lumbar
regions. Turning is resented and avoided but some circles were completed.
Palpation: Range of motion not done. Larger muscle mass over triceps and forelimbs with
bracing patters. Spasming and tension in the lower back and loss of muscle in the biceps
femoris and quadriceps bilaterally in the hindlimbs – this looks much improved than the last
visit and her overall posture looks more stable.
Aim: Improve joint flexibility and strength, prevent back pain and even up musculature
