Physiotherapy Consult – Rosie Janette Logan and Sian Jones Rosie was referred by Simon regarding hip dysplasia and arthritis diagnosis. Rosie has displayed sporadic vocalisation when at rest or jumping and has stopped jumping activities. She is currently on short walks of 15 minutes and on metacam and gabapentin for pain relief. Gait Analysis:    Able to locomote freely around the space Preferred to lie that sit or stand – will scoot forward oppose to pushing with hindlimbs Turning right has less rhythm and weight bearing Postural Evaluation: Mild kyphosis noted in the lumbar spine. Hyper extended carpal joints from cranial loading posture. Visibly off-loads right hindlimb. Muscular Evaluation: Notable lack of biceps femoris muscle mass in right hindlimb Forelimb joints and range of motion was good and no notable restrictions were seen in the forelimbs or hindlimbs except reduced hip extension bilaterally. Epaxial musculature was spasming, with trigger points and fasiculations bilaterally. This occurred from T10 caudally.
