Owner reports crabbing downhill and tenderness over the poll area. Has changed to back shoes due to being sore when walking over the stones. Gait: Left hindlimb mildly asymmetric compared to the right. More pelvic excursion left and pelvis extended. Tracks up. Large gluteal mass and tone in back musculature. Weaker over stifles and reluctant to extend left hindlimb into retraction. Places feet well and good foot balance. Objective: Spasming both sides lumbar area and into last rib on left (T18). Left gracillis muscle hypertonic and restricting left hind-limb movement. Reluctant to extend poll area and nuchal ligament showing tension. Back is braced and stiff when trying to laterally bend. Left pectoral high tone. Range of Motion: Back range of motion was good with nice pelvic rounding, dislikes pelvic lateral movement.
