Patient Name: Sybil Date: 11/3/25
Sybil was seen for her consult on 11/3/25. She is active, eating and
drinking normally and is of a good body weight. Owner is concerned Sybil has an injury or
pain due to slowing down on walks and limping when going downhill. On assessment Sybil
was nervous but settled into the session especially the exercises.
Subjective
During routine walking, no scuffing, dragging or issues seen
Able to sit, stand and lie well. Offloads right forelimb.
Can be stiff when on longer walks
Objective: Gait assessment shows active walk and trot with no obvious signs of lameness
present. On palpation the left forelimb was larger and had more muscle bulk present than
the right. The joints of the left forelimb were smooth and had full range of motion. The
carpus on the right was hyperextended and was mildly painful on full carpal flexiuon with
some mild crepitus. The right elbow elicited some lip licking and visible pain response,
crepitus on full elbow flexion. The right side of Sybils back was spasming and reactive to
touch. This may be due to previous disc diagnosis. This settled with laser treatment and
massage.
Physical Examination Findings:
Reduced right forelimb muscle
Right sided back pain and tension
Reduced mobility in thoracic region of the back
