Barbara was seen 30/10/24 for a physiotherapy session after a period of lameness and
steroid injection to aim to resolve the pain. Diagnosis given is annular ligament injury to
the left forelimb. Subjectively Barabra is doing well with her exercises so far and has not
had any issues. Some small trot transitions have been done under saddle and look good so
far.

look more aligned and less tucked into flexed posture. Hindlimb action is better with
increase stride length and freedom through the hamstrings. No goose step was seen in walk
today. Mild goose step in trot but again, keeping even pelvic drop. Straight moving, mildly
toe in bilaterally on the forelimbs.
Palpation: Scar left hindlimb insertion of semitendinosus has reduced alot. Tone overall is
better with more muscle mass and strength. Still reduced weight bearing on the left
forelimb, this has improved since the last visit. Some thickening Left forelimb over
suspensory and flexor tendons. Right side of the body, longissimus braced and reactive right
hand side. Mirrorred on the left to a lesser degree. Mild restriction in ROM left forelimb on
external rotation of the hoof.
