Cosmo- Physiotherapy Notes 2/10/24 Cosmo was seen 2/10/24 following an episode of hindlimb non-weight bearing on his right hindlimb. He has recently has a pain review and gabapentin has been added to his metacam and paracetamol prescription. Since last session appears ataxic, possible side effect from medications, advised to monitor. Gait is stilted and right elbow shows outward rotation. Cranially loading posture with alot of weight on the front legs and shoulders. Nails worn on right forelimb with abrasion on dorsal aspect of the digits. Right hindlimb will mildly weight bear following session but is held laterally and reluctant to resist gravity. Right forelimb shows restricted elbow flexion (40%) and carpal restriction round the acc. Carpal joint. Mass (2cm) palpated in right armpit, avoided manipulations in this area. Right shoulder hypertonic in particular triceps. Right tarsus shows soft swelling/mass around the joint (medial) but does not impede function directly.
