weight bearing

increased weight bearing

extension when in retraction – biceps brachii and supraspinatus tendons feel
restrictive.

Advice points
Weigh out food ration to prevent excessive weight. You may also wish to look at
lower calorie or “light” food to be cautious
Increase brain engagement by using toys or games to increase mental capacity,
kongs, likit mats or games with towels or bottles can be helpful. Use of toys or bones
will encourage paw movement and strength
Walk on varied surfaces, note any increased tiredness and be home by this time on
the next walk
