Elena – Exercise Prescription
1/8/24
Elena was seen for a posture session on 1/8/24. She is in good body condition and weight, her feet
are good an balanced with good quality horn. She has good straight limbs and overall good body
proportions.
Areas for development will include, improved muscles on the lateral (side) of the neck around the
vertebrae, this will help to stabilise the neck and make it easier for Elena to elevate the neck up.
Bracing in the cutaneous omobrachialis (fly twitch muscle) bilaterally (both sides), indicates
bracing of the forelimbs. Indeed more muscle was present on the shoulders than the hindquarters.
Overdeveloped pectorals and underdevelopment of the trapezius muscle means the forelimbs are
sunk in relation to the chest and so need some elevation and engagement.
The gluteal and quadriceps are under developed but pel;vic movement was good and so just more
activation is needed here. In walk the right forelimb was toe in which may cause loss of balance
turning right and there was visible restriction over the biceps femoris muscle. Longissimus back
muscle needs more tone and bulk.
