Pedro- Physiotherapy Notes

Pedro was seen for his initial consult on the 10/7/24. His stance was
wide with the hindlimbs and tended to sink slowly with the hindlimbs
with muscular spasming visible on the lateral thigh. Overall looks to
have good muscle tone which is even throughout, lacks strength and
mobility.
Right forelimb had thickening of digits in the paw and vetwrap over site
of excessive licking. Elbow was restricted 30%. Mild tension over
latissimus dorsi from increased forelimb use.
Left elbow also restrictive and reduced by 50% - more reactive. Also
thickening in digits more medial 2.
Right stifle thickened and crepitus on full extension, left stifle thick
but no crepitus, restricted in flexion.
Right hindlimb had a small mass palpable in the right hindlimb in
gastrocnemius approx 1.5cm (small grape).
Ataxic and splayed sit, aim to improve medial thigh muscles.
Aim: Improve proprioception, muscle tone and mobility
