Chester- Physiotherapy Notes
10/07/24
Chester was seen due to recent incident where RTA was suspected. He showed mild weight-bearing
limb lameness 2/10 on the left forelimb. There was associated muscle tone reduction in this limb but
muscle mass was still relatively even in both forelimbs. Mild restriction in the accessory carpal of the
left forelimb but was intermittent and possibly due to reduced load bearing on this limb. There was a
weight bearing discrepancy with less weight being placed through the left forelimb despite toe
touching. Restriction down long head of triceps on the left forelimb.
Range of motion in other limbs and spine good and nothing to note.
Left turning when doing weaves showed more reluctance and lack of lateral flexion.
Aim: Improve weight-bearing on front left leg as toe-touching currently. Improve muscle mass
and turning.
