Re: Winnie
05/7/24
Subjective:
Winnie was seen following intermittent periods of difficulty rising from a sternal down position.
Sitting posture is straight and square, able to stand, but prefers to sit. Happy on 3x walks per day of
10-15 minutes, would be able to do up to 20 minutes if required.
Less weight-bearing on the left hind-limb but all joint ranges are good and no restrictions or crepitus
felt. Retraction of hindlimbs was good – full range of hip movement. Mild restrictions in retraction of
forelimbs (mild biceps strain left forehand). Some lumbar pain on the left side and sensitive over the
spinal process’. Mild tension in the right hind-limb due to increased weight bearing.
Gait: No obvious limping or deviations observed, mild off loading left hindlimb and narrow
movement both hindlimbs. Occasionally bunny-hops so needs to work on separating hindlimbs.
