Charlie
25/03/24
Charlie was seen for physiotherapy following an episode with a colt
entering the field. Charlie seems unharmed but a check up was booked.
Gait assessment –Even pelvic drop was observed which improved from the
last visit. Good overtracking in walk with slightly flexed pelvis.
Turning showed good hindlimb proprioception, placement, and foot height.
Timing was good. Neck looked flexible during turning, back showed
visible tension. Mild quickening of the right forelimb on the turn.
Palpation –Spinal range of motion reduced in dorsi-flexion due to
spasming. Increased tension in thoracolumbar fascia, more on the left
hand side. Improved from last visit – no lasting issues from the colt
encounter. Mild scuffs and abrasions.
